Puglia Apulia, the heel of the Italian boot, is a long, relatively level region with a prolific production of both wine and table grapes. Apulia has 24 DOCs, by far the most of any southern region. Among the many DOCs of Salento, Salice Salentino stands out for its rich red and rosé. |
